Since 2008, Docs that Rock have played at the CAEP conference as a way of connecting emergency physicians with music and raising much needed funds for the Emergency Medicine Advancement Fund. With the cancellation of our annual conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Docs that Rock would like continue its tradition, but this time through video.

The EMAF supports emergency medicine research that ultimately improves patient care in Canada’s emergency departments.

As the national voice for emergency physicians, CAEP has been helping to inform government policy as well as holding weekly virtual Town Halls so that physicians can connect and share the latest clinical information on COVID. Funding for these efforts are needed as CAEP is a not-for-profit association. Contributions will help CAEP continue its dissemination of clinical guidelines, advocacy efforts, and improving the COVID response in emergency medicine across Canada.
