Elements on the Falls: Dessert, Wine reception and Fireworks

This year’s Opening Reception is a must-attend event! Overlooking the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, Elements Restaurant offers guests an unforgettable backdrop with a breathtaking view of the upper rapids and the thrill of the thundering power of the Niagara River as it plunges downstream. A short stroll from the Sheraton On The Falls hotel along the Niagara Gorge will bring you to this incredible venue. Join us as we sample locally produced, award-winning wines complemented by expertly prepared desserts by Element’s award-winning Chef. Delight your senses in this elegant atmosphere while toasting nature’s incredible display. We’ll finish off the evening with an awe-inspiring fireworks show.

Choice #1 – Niagara Falls VIP City Tour

Join us for a private, guided tour with informative, entertaining and historical interpretations of the area and featuring incredible views of both the Horseshoe and American Falls. Our tour includes three of the most interesting of the Fall’s surrounding attractions. We’ll experience the infamous Maid of the Mist, the White Water Walk, which takes us along the boardwalk of the world’s wildest stretch of white water, and finally, the Whirlpool Aerocar where we’ll be transported in an antique cable car to see the mesmerizing, natural phenomenon, the Niagara Whirlpool. Sometimes frightening and always memorable, this is an afternoon you’ll never forget!

Choice #2 – Niagara Wine Tour

Discover the charm and beauty of Niagara-on-the-Lake while experiencing some of the finest wines and wineries the area has to offer. Our afternoon will include a private tour and tasting at two award-winning wineries: Chateau Des Charmes and Pellar Estates, where you’ll sample premium red and white wines and of course, the area’s famous ice wines. These taste sensations will be paired with personally selected food items. Our tour will also feature interesting and informative facts about Niagara-on-the-Lake, its rich history and ever-expanding wine region – the largest and most diverse in all of Canada. You won’t want to miss this lively and interactive experience.

Choice #3 – Golf at Ussher’s Creek, Legends on the Niagara

Legends on the Niagara, located on the hallowed, historic grounds of the 1814 Battle of Chippewa, features a true masterpiece designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Thomas McBroom. The course is challenging and breathtaking, featuring tree lined fairways, wetland hazards, knee high fescue rough – and impeccable conditioning from tee to green. The creek the course is named for, criss-crosses throughout, providing both aesthetic enhancement and challenge for golfers. After your round, take advantage of the facilities offered in the Legends’ stunningly beautiful clubhouse, housing a full service pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and a wonderful restaurant/lounge with outdoor patio affording gorgeous golf course views. At the nineteenth, sit back, relax and enjoy a three-course dinner with beverages prepared by their experienced culinary team. Buses will have you back in time to take in “Docs that Rock” at the all-new Rumours Night Club.

Historic Walking/Shopping Tour and High Tea

Ranked the #1 Wine and Food destination in Canada, Niagara-on-the-Lake hums with a different kind of traffic than its historic and humble beginnings. Our tour guide will introduce us to its many attractions including Fort George and the Historical Society Museum, the Shaw Festival, marina, beautiful parks, agricultural markets and world famous Niagara wineries. The trip will focus on the town’s Heritage District for shopping where we’ll visit boutiques and galleries featuring local artisans and artists. Niagara-on-the- Lake offers many quality retail establishments where you’ll find delightful, unexpected treasures - from everyday needs to those once-in-a-lifetime special gifts. After browsing in the shops of the Heritage District, we’ll return to the refinement of the Victorian era at the Prince of Wales Hotel, where the elaborate ritual of English High Tea is presented daily in their lovely Drawing Room. Revel in the authentic English tradition by sampling teas and succulent pastries in this most beautiful tea room that keeps guests talking long after the experience!

Put on your runners or walking shoes and join other fitness keeners on this great 30-minute early morning jaunt that is sure to leave you breathless – if not from the exercise, then from the amazing scenery. Your guided running route will introduce you to the incredible beauty of Niagara Falls during that magical early morning time of day. Light refreshments will be available when we return to get ready for a full day of conference. An energizing and inspiring start to your day!

You won’t want to miss this spectacular culinary delight and experience. Sample select wines in our own private tasting room from leading wineries from the region. Taste Niagara’s bounty with cuisine prepared from the region’s farm fresh ingredients and complimented with locally produced award-winning wines. Niagara is known as a leader in preparing foods from within its 100-mile radius for a culinary experience second to none. Our own sommelier will guide us in the wine pairings throughout our meal. After dining and sampling the region’s finest, we’ll enjoy an evening of entertainment with Sandy Vine and the Midnights to dance the night away. You won’t want to miss this event – sure to be a highlight of the conference!
