Dr Mike Hodsman

Following a brief but devastating battle with cancer, Dr. Mike Hodsman died on July 23, 2010. His incredible commitment to excellence in patient care was unsurpassed, and everyone who knew Mike is saddened by the loss. We would like to create a lasting legacy to honor Mike's memory. To that end, we have established the Mike Hodsman Memorial Fund, which will support two initiatives. The first of these is an annual lecture series named in Mike's honor. The second is a scholarship program for non-MD emergency department employees to support professional development activities.

The Fund will be held by the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine. Donations may be made by cheque or on line at https://netcommunity.ucalgary.ca/MikeHodsman. If paying by cheque, please indicate on the memo line or in a separate note that the donation should be directed to "The Mike Hodsman Memorial Fund." All donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
